Founded in 2024 in Los Angeles County, The Big Scoop was created to make life a little bit easier for dog owners by eliminating the most dreaded chore of all—scooping dog poop!
Having picked up after their own dogs for years, the founders of The Big Scoop recognized that pooper scooping was an overlooked service across the US. They set out to make dog ownership a bit more enjoyable by solving this messy part of pet care.

Plus, we always send a photo of your securely closed gate after each service for your peace of mind. Our team is trained, professional, and background-checked to ensure the best care for your home and furry friends!
Proper disposal is important for both cleanliness and environmental safety. After each cleanup, we double-bag the waste and place it in your trash can or neatly on the side of your house. If you’d rather not use your own bin, we offer a waste hauling service for an additional fee to cover disposal costs. This way, you can enjoy a completely waste-free yard—hassle-free!
Yes, we’re happy to clean with your dog in the yard! We love meeting furry friends, but if your dog has shown signs of aggression, we ask that you bring them inside during our visit. Our team’s safety is a top priority, and if a pet becomes aggressive, we may require them to be secured or, in some cases, discontinue service.
No, we do not provide specific arrival windows for our service. We optimize our routes daily based on location to ensure efficient and timely cleanups. While we do our best to accommodate requests, our scheduling allows us to provide the most reliable service for all customers.
